He is a certified Invisalign® Preferred Provider and also specializes in traditional metal and ceramic clear braces, temporary anchorage devices (TADs), early childhood interceptive treatment, pre-prosthetic restorative planning, and treatment in conjunction with orthognathic jaw surgery.
Dr. Suh is professionally affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and Northeastern Society of Orthodontist (NESO) and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.
Dr. James Suh, DDS, MDS is a skilled and compassionate orthodontist with strong ethics, dedicated to treating patients of all ages for functionally balanced and aesthetically beautiful smiles.
Dr. Suh obtained his Bachelor and Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Dr. Suh then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from NYU College of Dentistry where he graduated top 1% of his class. He was also proudly inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Upon completion of dental school, he went on to specialize in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, completing a three-year residency program at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he received his second Master’s degree in Master of Dental Science (MDS) for his research on the effect of Rapid Palatal/Maxillary Expansion on the airway space.
